The Telling Room is excited to announce a call for submissions of artwork by Maine youth for its forthcoming anthology of climate writing. We are seeking artwork from young people who live all across Maine exploring how climate change has impacted their world. If you have something to say, we hope to hear from you! There is no fee to submit and all artwork will be considered for inclusion in our forthcoming climate writing anthology. 

Submission Guidelines:

• Entrants must live in Maine.  
• Entrants must be between the ages of 7 and 18.  
• All visual art media are considered, but must be shared as an image file. (JPG, PNG, or TIFF file type)
• Image resolution must be a minimum of 300 dpi.
• Youth may submit up to 2 different pieces of artwork.  
• Submitting to this call constitutes an agreement to be considered for publication in the climate writing anthology.  
• Submit writing between 9:00 a.m. on May 15th, 2025 and 11:59 p.m. on June 30th, 2025. If we do not receive your submission in this time span, it will not be considered.
